Origin Story

Ralphie May always dreamed of being a superhero. When his wife, comedian Lahna Turner, saw how much joy he got from starring in these SHOCC Comics commercials, she knew she had to make that dream bigger. She wrote the first episode of what was meant to be a TV show for him — a story where Ralphie could finally be the hero he always wanted to be. That show eventually evolved into the Pounds of Power comic book series, carrying forward his spirit and his dream.
